Ultimately, a ceremony is about you. It offers you a moment of sacredness in which you are held and guided by life. Below are some suggestions for occasions that are often accompanied by shamanic ceremonies.

Sometimes we simply want or need a break. An opportunity to focus on ourselves, our lives and our path. We may want to treat ourselves to a moment of deep relaxation and self-reflection. Or we may need a boost of energy and clarity. Whatever it is, a ceremony brings us into harmony with ourselves and the cycle of life.
Life offers us many powerful moments – some wonderful, some challenging. Honouring them with a ceremony is a way of consciously engaging with our own lives: be it a wedding celebration, moving into a new house, or a major turning point such as divorce or job loss. Sometimes we also want to proactively change something in ourselves and our lives. To realign ourselves more deeply with ourselves and our life path.

In all wisdom traditions around the world, motherhood is sacred. The birth of a child is one of the most magnificent, powerful moments in life. Bringing a soul into this world is pure magic, and an absolutely life-changing experience. A ceremony can help you connect more deeply with Mother Earth, the soul of your (unborn) child, and your inner wisdom and love.

Accompanying the death of a loved one is one of those sacred moments when humanity and eternity meet. Every wisdom tradition has rites of passage to ease the soul’s transition and support everyone involved during this time. In shamanism, there are also rituals to connect with people and animals after their transition to honour them in our everyday lives.
